I hope all is well with each and every one of you. We have reached that time of year when it is time to turn our thoughts to the upcoming baseball season. The Association has been working to put a great clinic together for you. I always hope you leave the annual clinic with information and drills that will be of use for you throughout the season. This is a great opportunity to bring your staff to Wichita and start your plans for the upcoming season.

The 2012 KABC Baseball Coaches Clinic will be at the La Quinta Inn & Suites at the Airport. Clinic dates will be Friday, January 27th and Saturday, January 28th. The La Quinta Inn & Suites is located at 5500 W. Kellogg Dr, Wichita, Kansas. The room rate this year will be $68.00. We have blocked 50 rooms for the clinic so please get your room reservations done as quickly as possible. The rooms will be released to the public on January 21st. The motel phone number is 316-943-2181. The motel will also be providing for you and your assistants a complimentary breakfast. The breakfast will be at the hotel restaurant.

The clinic will begin Friday, January 27th at 3:00pm and conclude Friday evening with a hospitality hour(s) starting around 8:00pm.  Following the last speaker on Friday, we will award our 2011 Coaches of the Year and coaches that have reached years of service and number of wins. The years of service, as a head coach, will begin at 10 years and the number of wins will start at 50 and continue for each additional 50 wins that you have accomplished. Saturday morning the clinic will begin at 9:00am and continue until 1:00pm. 

I hope you can be in attendance for the weekend and also become a member of the Kansas Association of Baseball Coaches. Once again we have joined with the National Baseball Coaches Association for you to become a member and receive some great benefits.

Please make copies of the registration form and bring your assistants. I would like to have a separate registration form for each coach in attendance. Please indicate if you are planning on attending the clinic by Wednesday, January 25th.
